Greetings from the middle of August! It's a busy time of year as Katie and Charlie are getting ready for school, which starts in 2 weeks already! Katie will be starting her 10th year teaching Middle School Art, and Charlie will be attending his 2nd year of Preschool! As for me, I've been working on some new designs for the fall.
The demo at R.A. Georgetti was a great success and a great time! A nice mix of paperweight collectors, glass collectors, families with children and individuals stopped by to see the demo and shop inside. It was fun to converse and engage with everyone and I enjoyed the many thoughtful questions and interest about the paperweights.
A big thank you to Rick, his family and his entire staff. They were very welcoming and wonderful hosts!
